Dr. Shaleen Raizada

Dr Shaleen Raizada is a PhD in Physics from NPL, New Delhi. She started her career in Intellectual Property (IP), working as a Senior Scientific Officer (II) at the Patent Facilitating Cell (PFC) at the Technology Information Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC), Department of Science & Technology (DST), New Delhi. With over 10 years of experience in IP in various firms like Samtel and Sun Pharma, she started her own consultancy firm, SanShadow, in 2004, which evolved into SanShadow Consultants Pvt Ltd (SSCPL).

SSCPL is an IPR services company that aims to set benchmarks in the IP services sector by raising the level of awareness in India and providing international expertise at Indian prices.




Mr. Gurjit.S.Bharara

Gurjit Bharara has over 21 years’ experience in the field of renewable energy, covering solar photovoltaic (PV) power systems, solar thermal systems, bio energy power generation, etc. He is a post-graduate in electronics engineering.

His main thrust of work has been in system application/business development and design of solar PV power systems of 1KW to MWp scale; cost optimisation for solar PV systems; and increasing overall solar PV system efficiency. He has experience in designing solar PV products from concept to prototype, and from validation on to mass market application.

His varied assignments included heading the sales and marketing division (NR) for Tata BP Solar, Bangalore. He is the team leader overseeing the first 5 MW solar PV grid interactive project being set up at Rajasthan.

He has also developed various large-scale standalone power projects for electrification schemes of remote villages at Leh, in Ladakh, and has worked with many international funding agencies supporting renewable energy projects in India.

He has published more than five papers pertaining to the applications of solar PV systems.

As General Manager, Sales & Marketing for Amara Raja Electronics Limited., Indeevar G is heading Amara Raja’s consumer electronics and Electronic Manufacturing Services foray. He is also a member of the $400 million Amara Raja Group’s leadership team.

An Electronics and Communication Engineer from Manipal Institute of Technology, Indeevar pursued his Masters in Business Administration from Illinois State University during his 4 year stint in the United States. (U.S.A).

Indeevar has a mix of entrepreneurial and professional experience. In a career spanning over 19 years, he has exposure to Textile & Leather Exports, Real Estate and the Automotive sectors before moving into the Consumer Electronics domain.

He earlier headed the marketing team that grew Amara Raja’s automotive batteries’ business in the SAARC region from Rs.25 crores to Rs. 250 crores in a short span of 4 years.





Mr. Jaswinder Ahuja

Jaswinder Ahuja has been with Cadence since 1988, assuming responsibility as managing director of Cadence's India operations in May 1996, and the additional role of leading Strategic Partnerships in November 2002. Under his leadership, the engineering centre in India has grown significantly and clearly established its leadership in various design automation technology areas. Ahuja is focused on developing design automation solutions to address the needs of the 65-/45-nm technology process nodes, by leveraging Cadence's leadership in design automation technology and its partner's leadership in electronic design, process technology, and chip manufacturing.

Mr. Lalit Kumar Das

Lalit Kumar Das has pioneered Industrial Design education at IIT Delhi. He graduated in Civil Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Thereafter, he did his Masters in Technology in Design Engineering from IIT Delhi and then a Masters in Art in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art, London. Das has wide-ranging interests in man’s innate potential to design. He has designed products for the office, home and for industry. He has also designed educational and research equipment. He has worked with artisans and has conceptualised distance education for them through IGNOU.

He is deeply interested in sustainable approaches to design and a non-parochial non-partisan framework for the study of design. He has many publications to his credit, and has been involved in the development of the forthcoming National Policy on Design. He is widely travelled and has worked at the Industrial Design Center, IIT Bombay and at the Department of Fine Arts, University of Manitoba, Canada. He has been actively promoting design at all levels of society





Mr. Mohan Krishnan

With over 18 years’ experience in the research and consulting industry, Krishnan has advised both private and public sector companies in fields such as consumer goods, ICT, energy, the environment, logistics, steel, automobiles and financial services.

After an MBA in Marketing Management from the Faculty of Management Studies, 1992, Delhi University and a B.Tech from IIT, Delhi, Krishnan began his career as an engineer in sustainable development at Development Alternatives. He then moved to consumer research at IMRB International, where he later specialised in technology research before moving to head a sister company, Henley Centre, a marketing consulting firm. He returned to IMRB to head BIRD, a B2B and technology research unit at Mumbai, before moving back to Delhi to head Consumer Quantitative in 2008.






Ms Neelam Kumar

An electronics engineer, a Technical Board topper, and an all-round Merit Certificate holder in academics, music, sports and dramatics, Neelam Kumar is presently the Executive Director of Aplab Ltd. She is responsible for power controls and conversion, test and measurement division, exports to European countries, BAAN ERP and corporate communication.

She is also Director, Sprylogic Technologies Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Aplab, since 2007.

With nearly three decades of experience in manufacturing as a senior manager/VP/COO and director, she has hands-on experience of manufacturing electronic equipment for export as well as the local market. She has always been a part of strategic planning teams, and made IT part and parcel of organisational work ethics when she was appointed the CIO of Aplab.

Ms Kumar has a proven track record in restructuring businesses to achieve growth targets, business/channel development, and staff training and development. Effective delegation, optimising growth, maximising profitability and increasing ROI are some of her notable achievements.

She convened IICPE-2002 and IICPE-2004, an IEEE event co-sponsored by IEEE USA, IIT Mumbai and IIT Delhi respectively, which brought together international researchers, academicians and industrialists from India and abroad.

She presented a paper on ‘Human Side of Globalisation’ at IEMC 2006, in Brazil, and was among the ‘50 leading Asian women achievers’ announced by the French consul general and Ashok Hinduja, one of India’s leading businessmen.





Mr. Philip Jacob

He joined Bharat Electronics Limited in 1978 after completing his Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Regional Engineering College Tiruchirapalli.

He has been working in a variety of areas in Bharat Electronics starting from Marketing, Research and Development, to Manufacturing. He initially began his career with Development activity in Microwave Communication Systems Later he moved into the field of Electronic Warfare where he was actively involved in Development as well as in the manufacturing of Electronic Warfare systems for the Defense forces and various Government organizations.

His experience also includes the task of Technology Planning for all the core areas of Bharat Electronics. He currently heads the Central - Development and Engineering Group at Bangalore which supports the Bangalore Factory for its Hardware and Software designs.
